Ffxiv instant portrait not working
Instant portraits in CC. Allegedly, "An instant portrait reflects your current appearance" but it breaks and can't be used for CC if you change jobs or even your glam on the same job. What's the point? Every time I want to play a different job for CC I have to update the portrait manually or it uses the default portrait as if you never made one. The quick fix is usually saving both your "Current gear set" and then resaving your portrait. While I don't know the specifics, there is a clear connection between the Portrait and the Gearset/Glamour Plate link, and whenever that runs afoul of their check, it breaks the portrait. You rarely have to do anything to the Glamour plate, here's a ...So I would expect that the instant portrait doesn't delink, default or whatever just because I change a piece in the gear set. I'm not updating several portraits each week just because there's a new equipment piece in there when my outward appearance hasn't even changed.
